The Role

Project Manager is accountable for the P&L of the project(s). He also responsible for thoroughly understanding the contractual obligations and managing the project accordingly by working with all of the stakeholders of the project.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for having a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations and managing the project accordingly
  • Responsible for the review of all project specifications and documentation necessary to develop a thorough understanding of the scope of work, client expectations, budget, deliverables, schedule
  • Responsible for establishing a project execution plan that may include teams on different Thermon locations and implementing it on the project
  • Responsible for establishing major deliverables schedule and setting milestones,
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating resource requirements to the PSD for planning,
  • Responsible for communicating project scope, schedule, and all other information to the engineering design team
  • Responsible for managing and controlling change,
  • Responsible for project communication with internal and external clients
  • Responsible for maintaining budget and schedule and providing status/update reports to PSD and Lead Designer.
  • Accountable for quality assurance in the project
  • Responsible for communicating with and understanding the Construction Manager's role, progress, cost and scope of work, issues and concerns, and incorporating this in the project execution plan (if applicable)
  • Responsible for project closeout
  • Responsible for maintaining the Project Controls folder structure
  • Provides input in the development of Global and Regional procedures as required

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Electrical is preferred.
  • Technically competent to understand Thermon business; Thermon offerings of material and services, including design process and how different choices during design affect his/her project bottom line.
  • Deliver projects with lower costs and higher profit margins.
  • Drives improved productivity with higher worker morale (less stress)
  • Has an outstanding degree of organizational and coordination of the internal activities for a successful project execution.
