JOB SUMMARY

As a Field Tester at ASI, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our autonomous software through extensive vehicle testing. You will work closely with our landscaping team in executing test plans to help validate our software on autonomous lawn mowers. This position will be onsite at golf courses in Hurricane/St. George Utah testing and troubleshooting our lawn mowers. 90-100% of time will be away from the office in the field (golf courses).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute test plans against our autonomous vehicles.
  • Work with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing as software is ready for release.
  • Analyze and report on defects found during testing.
  • Execute tests in the lab and field test environments.
  • Can lift and carry test equipment regularly.
  • Ability to work early mornings, (5:30am to 11am)

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS

  • Must be 18 yrs old to drive equipment.
  • Preferred experience operating commercial mowers.
  • Preferred experience golfing and an understanding of golf course etiquette.
  • Software/Hardware Testing experience preferred.
  • Courses in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues.
  • Familiar with regression and general testing protocols.
  • Experience in teamwork and individual accountability.
  • Can listen and follow instructions.
