If you are a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst and are looking for an exciting position where you can "test" your skills, then ASI may be the employer for you! Software QA Analysts ensure the quality and integrity of all software and robotics specifications and performance. This includes designing test cases, running test cases, and ensuring products are ready for release and meet our quality assurance objectives.

The ideal candidate has a testing mindset and is passionate about shipping high quality products. The Software QA Analyst's responsibilities include the development, maintenance, execution, and the reporting of the team's test automation framework and load tests. Our Software QA Analysts provide simplified and quick feedback throughout the development process and analyze/report on the test results. 10-15% travel for this position.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, execute, and manage test cases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and work with project teams to resolve them.
  • Conduct user-acceptance testing as software is ready for release.
  • Participate in scrum meetings and provide input on quality and testing efforts.
  • Execute tests in the lab, on the vehicle, and in field test environments.


ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS

  • 1-2 years of Software QA Testing, or other related experience.
  • Courses in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiar with regression and general testing protocols.
  • Experience in teamwork and individual accountability.
  • Can listen and follow instructions.
  • Familiar with Agile software development preferred.
  • Willing and eager to learn Linux operating system and proprietary software installation and diagnostics.
