Job Title: Pool Complex Supervisor
Reports To: Director of Housekeeping
Wage: $25/hr (OT eligible, tip eligible)
Work Schedule: 40+ hours/week, including weekends
The Pool Complex Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of pool deck programming and poolside food and beverage services. This role ensures that guests receive outstanding service, the pool area remains well-maintained, and team members are effectively managed and motivated. The Supervisor works closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to uphold company standards and coordinate multiple operational aspects of the pool complex.
Staff Supervision & Training
Supervise and manage a staff of 6 pool attendants, ensuring high-quality, efficient service delivery.
Train, schedule, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
Guest Service
Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly.
Operational Oversight
Maintain a visible presence in the pool area to guarantee guest satisfaction and adherence to operational standards.
Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Pool & Facility Management
Manage 4 spa pools along with two large family and adult pools, ensuring all are operated safely and meet company standards.
Oversee 15 rentable cabanas, ensuring they are well-maintained and that the reservation process runs smoothly.
Food, Beverage & Retail Coordination
Coordinate closely with the 1886 Grill and retail operations to handle revenue streams from food and retail sales, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Membership & Revenue Responsibility
Handle complex membership responsibilities and oversight, ensuring member needs are met and operational policies are followed.
Monitor revenue streams associated with pool services, retail operations, and cabana rentals.
Additional Responsibilities
Complete opening and closing checklists, manage entry gate coordination with hotel guests and social members, and develop weekly schedules based on hotel forecasts.
Assist with budget management and cost control initiatives.
Tip Eligibility: Ensure team members understand that this position is tip eligible.
Perform other duties as needed.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in food and beverage or recreation services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
