DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

DMBA is seeking an accomplished data and project professional to excel as the Business Intelligence and ETL Manager. This position is for an experienced team manager who is self-motivated, continuously learning, excited with change, and ready to move the team and technology to the next level!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, prioritize, coordinate, and organize the work of BI/ETL team members.
• Project manage and monitor the varied and complex BI and ETL needs of the company-and ensure successful beginning-to-end delivery of projects.
• Lead and mentor the team in daily work using Agile methodologies, and use Jira to manage ongoing work, requirements, sprints, and projects.
• Coordinate with engineers and the business on requirements, tasks, solutions, and deliverables, and ensure that standards are followed and continually improved.
• Facilitate problem-solving and solutioning sessions with business and technical leaders; identify concrete business needs and translate them into BI requirements and specifications.
• Mentor, train, and develop the team members' technical and professional skills.
• Utilize and implement ETL tools to reduce code, increase throughput, and build workflows for data transformation (on-prem, Cloud, batch, and real-time processes).
• Create dashboards, visualizations, reports, analytics, and alerts to meet end-user needs and provide insight to decision-makers.
• Participate in the design, development, validation, and testing of BI, ETL, and other data, reports, workflows, automations, and processes.

Requirements:

• At least 6-8 years' experience with BI, ETL, IT, project management, and managing teams.
• Strong experience and expertise with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles (traditional data integration as well as iPaaS solutions); familiarity with multiple ETL tools is a bonus (e.g., Boomi, Alteryx, Workato, Talend).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy.
• Strong experience utilizing Oracle and SQL Server data, API's, data cleansing, and error handling.
• Effective written and verbal leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Detailed, organized, able to think through and carry out the completion of data and BI projects.
• Flexibility; problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; self-motivated.
• Minimum typing of 50 WPM.
• Master's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.

Preferred Experience:

• Alteryx, Power BI, and/or Tableau certifications.
• AWS or Azure data streaming and pipeline experience.
• GraphQL or other data API experience.
• Data warehousing architecture and data modeling expertise.
• Project management certification (PMP®).
