Application Engineering Intern
The Application Engineering Intern will help support & manage projects within our Application Engineering Team (AE) in the Sales department
What you will be doing:
The Application Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting the AE Manager in new opportunity negotiations, quoting and samples/prototypes in various ways such as creating Cad concepts, building, or assisting MFG to build early samples/prototypes of customer designs, creating preliminary specifications and statement of work and creating presentations and proposals to document how ATL intends to solve customer pain points.
This role will also support the Build to Print Process in various ways such as working with customer to review drawings and other documentation for accuracy and manufacturability, creating timelines and estimate product deliverable completion dates, processing change request and creating manufacturing work instructions to allow MFG team to create products that are compliant to customer drawings.
What we expect from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and be enrolled in a 4-year technical degree program such as ME, MET, EE or Physics with a sophomore status.
Our ideal candidate will need to have experience in CAD, Solidworks program is preferred.
We expect that you be able to commit to 20 hours per week during the school year, and will ideally be co-op style internship that will last up to 2 years.
