Job Title: ZipTour Foreman
Reports To: ZipTour Manager
Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Full-time, Seasonal positions
Variable shifts 9:00am - 7:00pm, Must be available weekends and holidays
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Summary: Oversee and contribute to ZipTour operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to ZipTour operational and safety protocols.
- Ensure positive and welcoming culture for all ZipTour staff.
- Utilize and promote proper use of PPE.
- Conduct daily and monthly inspections, maintenance checks, and assist in annual safety testing.
- Train and mentor staff on ZipTour procedures and safety measures.
- Coordinate and perform rescue operations
- Monitor weather conditions for guest safety, coordinate and execute mountain evacuations.
- Manage scheduling, documentation, and daily operational procedures.
- Transport guests via ATV for private tours.
- Maintain environmental stewardship and support team motivation.
- Perform winter operations, including de-icing cables and clearing pathways.
Supervisory Duties:
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and HR documentation.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one season of ZipTour experience preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications and two-way radio communication.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must meet ZipTour ride requirements (height, weight, and health restrictions).
Work Environment:
- Exposure to high elevations, extreme weather, mechanical equipment, and moderate noise levels.
- Requires physical endurance, including standing, climbing, and lifting.
