Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to perform design, drafting, and construction inspection of waterworks projects. You may also provide assistance with right-of-way acquisition, hydraulic modeling, courier duties, data entry, and perform other special assignments as needed. Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is a wholesale water supplier in Salt Lake County which supplies drinking water to over 750,000 people.
Minimum Requirements: It is preferred that you be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Civil or Environmental Engineering and have completed a minimum of one engineering course in hydraulics, hydrology, water resources and/or hydraulic network analysis. Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) during the summer. Opportunities for part-time work during the school year are a possibility which can be explored as your Fall course schedule is determined.
Wage: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
Background Check & Drug Screen: A pre-employment/post offer drug screen and physical examination is required along with a driving record review.
