The Role

The Machine Operator provides set up and operate wrapping machines for the production of tubing bundle products.

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate machinery to manufacture complex products and customized bundles per work orders.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
• Accurately record all necessary information needed for traceability and inventory control.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• Perform routine maintenance and maintain proper adjustment of machinery.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify Inventory Control of low levels or defective materials.
• Regularly review and remain current on Operating Procedures, Quality Procedures and Manufacturing Specifications regarding the wrapping process.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
• Maintain a clean and safe working area using LEAN Manufacturing principals
• Work in a Team environment

Who You Are

Knowledge and Experience:

• Ability to read and write English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing processes
