DUTIES
PRODUCTION:
A.Responsible for accurate assembly of contracted jobs.
B.Perform job with strict attention to safety considerations.
C.Reports any defects immediately to supervisor.
D.Attend training(s) as required
E.Other duties as assigned.
SAFETY:
A.Attend training and yearly review on the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, as well as Beacon's Exposure Control Policy. Understand and follow the Standard and Exposure Control Program.
B. Report any potentially dangerous situations to supervisor and Human Resources. Take steps necessary to protect clients and staff until the situation is corrected.
C. Reinforce safe practices to clients and other staff.
D. Attend Safety trainings as required.
E. In the event of an industrial accident or illness, in conjunction with supervisor, complete an accident investigation and report to Human Resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have previous stripping/crimping experience (Molex, TE, JST)
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified (current or held certifications in the past) preferred
Knowledgeable with various hand tools used to perform cable assembly and harnessing
Skilled at soldering (IPC Certified a plus)
Computer Skills (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite)
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
Ability to assemble cables based on drawings and other technical documentation. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted
Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate small parts.
Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to work effectively with staff, clients and the public
Ability to use judgment
Ability to meet deadlines
