About being our EAM Implementation Consultant

As our EAM Implementation Consultant, you will be a key player in delivering value to our clients by ensuring the successful deployment of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, particularly OpenGov. This role combines deep product knowledge with industry expertise to guide clients through every phase of implementation-from discovery to go-live-ensuring the solution is configured for long-term success and maximum return on investment. You'll take ownership of the implementation process, building a strong foundation for each client by aligning their goals with best practices and the capabilities of the platform. In addition to hands-on project delivery, the Implementation Consultant plays a strategic role across the organizations supporting scoping and pre-sales activities, informing enhancements to delivery processes, and sharing feedback to improve our solutions and services.

You'll also contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and delivering internal training to elevate our delivery standards across the board.

Responsibility Highlights for our EAM Implementation Consultant

  • Lead end-to-end implementation efforts for new clients, managing every phase from initial data discovery and platform configuration to administrator training and go-live support.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients deploying or expanding their OpenGov solutions, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Engage daily with government stakeholders, guiding them through implementation and equipping them to become confident system administrators and OpenGov champions.
  • Analyze client needs and pain points, partnering with internal teams to streamline, automate, and enhance workflows for improved operational outcomes.
  • Build deep knowledge of public sector processes across multiple states to craft tailored, effective solutions aligned with agency requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Engagement & Adoption team to deliver a cohesive customer journey, including onboarding and tailored training sessions.
  • Document and apply best practices across client verticals and data environments to improve delivery consistency and efficiency across future projects.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, offering practical insights and solution recommendations based on implementation experience and sector expertise.

Minimum Qualifications to be our EAM Implementation Consultant

  • 2+ years of experience in the public sector, with a background in areas such as Procurement, Budgeting, Community Development, Asset Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • 2+ years in software implementation or consulting, with direct experience supporting external clients through complex solution deployments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven experience managing and reporting on large datasets, particularly in financial or government-related contexts.
  • Proficient in delivering customer training on software platforms, focusing on key workflows and business processes to ensure user adoption and success.
  • Skilled in providing remote support and guidance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including v-lookups, pivot tables, error-checking, and formatting for professional reporting.
