The Role

The Painter/Sandblaster is responsible for production of various equipment for heating systems for customers across North America.

Thermon Manufacturing Facility is located at 2721 Plymouth Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 5R5.

What You Will Do

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with Enamel and Epoxy paint and wear mask and helmet that provides fresh air
  • Mask jobs and prepare surfaces prior to paint
  • Read drawings and fill out paint reports (manually)
  • Ready to do general assembly when the scope of operations is low and willing to be crossed trained in other production phases
  • Ability to do minor servicing of sandblast equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing in long hours as well as bending when necessary

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working at Manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Assembly experience is preferred
  • Crane and tow motor training is a requirement - provided by Thermon Canada Inc.
