What You'll Do
As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and certifications.
- Creating and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Performing inspections on incoming materials, fabricated components, welding, electrical assemblies, and final products.
- Participating in third-party inspections, customer inspections, and quality audits.
- Maintaining calibration records for testing equipment and ensuring accurate measurements.
- Collaborating across departments to track and resolve quality issues.
- Interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, ITPs, and other technical documents.
- Follow all safety laws, regulations, codes, policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in a Quality department, ideally within welding, fabrication or electrical inspection
- Familiarity with ASME codes, NDE processes, and metrology tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise measurements.
- Ability to work independently
Physical Requirements
- 20/20 vision (or corrected) and ability to use prescription safety glasses.
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. (lifting devices are provided).
