The Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our human resources team and be part of taking recruiting to the next level. As a Recruiter at Thermon, you should have a passion for candidate experience and driving talent to Thermon through an innovative recruitment marketing approach.

As Recruiter, you will own the sourcing talent pipeline management for a variety of professional and operations positions across the country.

This role will report to the Human Resources Business Partner, Eastern Hemisphere, will partner and work close with HR and Hiring Managers promoting positive culture, collaboration, and high-performance work environment though progressive recruiting practices.

What You Will Do

  • Hands-on recruiting, applicant tracking system administration, and talent acquisition brand initiatives.
  • Identify, attract and select outstanding talent for Thermon. Support Thermon's diversity initiatives to attract candidates with diverse backgrounds.
  • Responsible for Recruiting Process, supports HR management and hiring managers by sourcing and identifying targeted pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of talent acquisition and recruiting trends and changes through research, relying heavily on data, metrics, and industry best practices in coordinating recruitment efforts.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop detailed job descriptions, screening questions, and tool lists specific to positions based on scope of work to be performed.
  • Maintain a keen sense of urgency and consistency in screening resumes, assessing qualifications, recognizing culture fit, conducting phone screens, video/onsite interviews, and check on candidate's references.
  • Ensure delivery of prompt and effective communications with candidates & workforce scheduling throughout the full cycle recruiting process.
  • Schedule candidate interviews, travel (if applicable), and logistics in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure the mission, vision and culture of Thermon is showcased and elevated through candidate experience and across channels that align with Company objectives and strategies.
  • Explore best practices in utilizing creative marketing and sourcing strategies to attract high quality active and passive candidates.
  • Partner with HR and Marketing team to develop, recommend, and implement strategic initiatives using marketing, social media, third-party and internal platforms to expand recruiting pools for more diverse candidates.
  • Assist HR team in the identification of job description improvements, job posting requirements, and other talent acquisition compliance matters.
  • Continually optimize metrics and Global Recruiting Tracker as well as Applicant System to create a more efficient and effective hiring process.
  • Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing staffing requirements through consultation with field management and workforce scheduling. Sustain staffing expectations through knowledge of turnover, scheduling restrictions, and forecasting.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system in real time with candidate information and interactions to ensure all data is updated throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and other industry events.
  • Identify opportunities to create recruiting efficiencies across the organizations when possible.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Ability to creatively source talent utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Software, associations, social media, and internet searches.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, work independently in a fast-paced as well as team environment in matrixed organization?
  • Ability to interact with a range of personalities to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management, written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience as a Recruiter or similar role is required.
  • Experience working in a Engineering Industry is a plus.
  • Experience in building, cultivating, and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems is required.
  • Experience with HRIS System is required (Workday is a plus).
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Teams, SharePoint.
  • Able and available to work onsite. Requires punctuality and dependable attendance to meet business sourcing needs.
