Turner Industries Group is looking for an Operations Support Analyst II to join our Information Technology team.  The Operations Support Analyst II processes incidents and requests for the Information Technology users of the company from start to completion in professional and friendly matter. The employee will utilize a combination of internal and external resources with the function of being the main point of contact for all incidents and requests.

 Functional Requirements:

The employee must be proficient in the following areas, but not limited to these duties. 

• Assume all functional requirements of the Operations Analyst I.
• Assist in the development of the company standard image for each PC model.
• Assist in testing hardware and software to evaluate ease of use and whether the product will aid the user  in performing their work.
• Evaluate environmental factors affecting PC network and Telecommunications equipment and service.
• Evaluate methods to increase user productivity and accuracy.
• Instruct clients in the use of equipment, software, manuals, and training options.
• Develop documentation for use in ITD and the Turner Industries – Tech notes, best practices, training material, installation procedures, etc.
• Will participate in on-call rotation as appropriate.
• Will adhere to all company and operations support policies, procedures and standards.
• Plus any other specific duties assigned.

 Qualification Standards:

• Must be a customer service minded professional
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required
• Pass the required safety courses and comply with all required safety guidelines for OSHA and site specific standards
• Must possess and maintain a current valid Louisiana Drivers license
• Meet Operations Support customer service standards
• Pass Operations Support competency exam
• Lift 40 pounds without assistance
• Minimum experience:  2+ years in PC support role
• Minimum education: 2 years of secondary education can be substituted 1:1 for years of experience
• Minimum credentials: Credentials Preferred

Employee may be required to do the following: reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movement of eyes, hands and fingers to operate machines and equipment; lifting from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing  with or without correction; following set procedures and  standards; applying basic mathematical skills; following oral and/or written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards

c.)  Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately indoor climate; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances; potential exposure to outdoor elements on occasion.
