Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities | |
· Be able to setup, run, tear down, and reassemble machines in the assigned manufacturing areas · Lead passdown meetings at white board and ensure all employees attend unless otherwise authorized · Prioritize batches that need to be run based on customer needs and make changes as appropriate to ensure those needs are met · Verify appropriate lines are running in assigned manufacturing areas, in the most effective and efficient manner possible · Check that material and cable are running within limits defined in the Manufacturing Specifications · Identify process or equipment failures and causes; initiate appropriate action to fix minor issues or to prevent reoccurrence (e.g., Non-conformance reports, emails, maintenance requests) · Implement directives and instructions provided by management in a resourceful and timely fashion · Ensure adherence to Workplace Conduct and Expectations · Oversee and verify completion of shift tasks, such as area cleanliness · Maintain raw materials are available and retrieve from warehouse when needed · Oversee team members and ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively during each shift · Venture into assigned areas of responsibilities multiple times per shift to verify equipment is running and batches are being processed as required by SOP's · Convey to management any issues that affect machine, batch, or workplace performance · Maintain a work environment that is in compliance with safety laws and employment guidelines · Ensure production goals are achieved, and document reasons why they are not met · Participate in technical or management-led meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution |
