About the Role

The Director of Business Development will play a pivotal role in establishing ASI's presence in the construction market by shaping and executing strategies to secure partnerships, enter new markets, and drive growth. You'll oversee a team of Business Development Managers, guiding them to build client relationships, negotiate partnerships, and close high-value deals. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through strategic leadership, innovation, and collaborative execution.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Lead efforts to identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with key players in the ecosystem, including developers, general contractors, dealers, leasing companies, and more.

- Guide Market Expansion: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for entering and establishing ASI's presence in new markets.

- Drive Joint Ventures and Acquisitions: Identify and negotiate opportunities for joint ventures, vertical integrations, or acquisitions to accelerate adoption and market share.

- Lead Business Development Managers: Mentor and support Business Development Managers to meet sales targets, nurture partnerships, and contribute to ASI's growth.

- Analyze and Monitor Markets: Guide the team in researching market trends, identifying opportunities, and engaging key stakeholders to position ASI as a market leader.

- Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions: Oversee client relations, ensuring alignment with customer needs, gathering product feedback, and delivering long-term satisfaction.

- Solve Complex Challenges: Break down complex business challenges into actionable solutions, collaborating across teams and functions to deliver results.




What You'll Do

- Develop and refine business development strategies to expand ASI's presence in the construction market.

- Establish, nurture, and close strategic partnerships to drive adoption of ASI's technology solutions.

- Lead joint ventures, acquisitions, and vertical integrations, collaborating with legal, financial, and leadership teams to structure effective agreements.

- Oversee and mentor a team of Business Development Managers, ensuring they are equipped to achieve their goals and grow professionally.

- Organize client relations, including product feedback collection, satisfaction surveys, and development activities.

- Monitor market trends and analyze opportunities for growth, aligning business development strategies with company objectives.

- Foster a collaborative environment among internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional value to clients.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in business development, partnerships, and strategic growth. Ideal candidates will have:

- 10-15 years of experience in corporate or business development, with a focus on building partnerships and driving top-line growth.

- 5+ years of experience negotiating complex partnership contracts and agreements.

- 2-4 years of leadership experience, managing and mentoring high-performing business development teams.

- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

- Proven expertise in acquisitions, joint ventures, or corporate development processes.

- Experience in the construction, robotics, or software development industries is preferred.

- Ability to travel 25-50% as needed to support partnerships, market expansion, and team development.
