Job Title: Marketing Connections Strategist
Location: Corporate Office
Status: Full-time (40 hours/week, may include Saturdays and after-hours events)
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and executing the social media programs that contribute to the sales and growth of the credit union. Primary responsibilities include to plan, research, produce, publish and promote content through the lens of member-centric storytelling and the development and management of paid search campaigns, improving the online/digital profile and position of the credit union. Operates as a brand steward, ensuring consistency in the brand's voice and tone, storytelling and identity across the entire spectrum of marketing and communications.
Essential Duties, Skills, & Abilities
Required Experience & Skills:
Concentration in marketing, communications, e-Commerce, business or related major is highly preferred.
High level of proficiency in internet marketing concepts & practices, including the ability to conceptualize user navigation/flow through new online services.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in use of the online and mobile technologies.
Ability to understand market research.
Minimum one (1) year experience working in the financial industry preferred.
Confident public speaking skills.
Demonstrated creative and analytical abilities. Able to think outside the box.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and projects. Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Motivated self-starter who anticipates new projects and works proactively.
Ability to work individually and with a team.
You've got a "chaos proof" personality and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You're ambitious, creative, fanatically detail-oriented, and take pride in your work.
This role requires savviness and scrappiness across a broad range of skillsets, including: creative thinking, research, data analysis, problem solving, public speaking, event planning, online publishing, social media, and search engine optimization in addition to significant writing and editing.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
Knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services, including rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Experience in digital content strategy and social media development or related marketing experience preferred.
