Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in expanding KOTM's reach, engagement, and impact through strategic digital marketing efforts. This position is responsible for managing social media, paid advertising, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and automated customer journeys. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker who can develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies that align with our mission and drive engagement, awareness, and conversions.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy tailored to different target audiences across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok).
  • Create, schedule, and manage content, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual branding.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and cultivate a strong online community.
  • Develop mini-campaigns that fit within larger marketing initiatives to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Track and report on key social media metrics and optimize strategies based on data insights.

Paid Advertising & PPC:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve ad performance and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor and adjust budgets to ensure cost-effective campaign performance.
  • Analyze conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), and other KPIs to refine ad strategy.

SEO & Website Optimization:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content, metadata, and structure.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure a seamless user experience and strong on-page SEO.
  • Monitor website analytics and provide insights on traffic trends, audience behavior, and conversion rates.

Email Marketing & Automation:

  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns tailored to different audience segments (parents, donors, volunteers, corporate partners, etc.).
  • Develop automated email workflows to nurture leads and engage existing supporters.
  • Optimize email subject lines, content, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to improve open and conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align digital efforts with broader campaign goals.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging digital marketing best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management, paid advertising, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Strong content creation skills (writing, design, and video editing are a plus).
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, HotJar).
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) and experience with automation workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
