Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Representative to spearhead the sales efforts of our newly launched online payments solution, focusing on selling to our existing customer base. This role offers the opportunity to engage deeply with local government clients and expand your career in a rapidly growing company. The chance to lead sales for a new product in a well-established market is an exciting opportunity for any sales professional.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales effort for Govineer's new payments solution, targeting existing customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our local government clients and their needs.
  • Conduct outreach to clients to set up and deliver product demonstrations.
  • Establish pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with the implementation and post-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive products.
  • Report on sales activities and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in software, payments, or technology sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with local government operations and software solutions is a plus.
  • Understanding of online payment solutions, pricing, and fee models is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

Location: Remote with occasional travel for client meetings and industry events. Offices in Provo, UT for an in-person/hybrid option.

Compensation: Competitive salary with commission structure and benefits package.
