Job Title: LOOKOUT & CONCESSIONS SEASONAL MANAGER
Rate of Pay: $24.00/hr
Shift: Full-time Seasonal position
Variable AM/PM shifts Sunday through Saturday
Weekends and holidays required
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
SUMMARY
Oversee all aspects of Lookout Restaurant operations, Summer Theater Concessions & Barbeque Operations, and mountain event F&B operations exhibiting exceptional leadership skills to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise, train and plan, direct all Employees on assigned shift.
- Ensure that all rules, regulations, and procedures are complied with.
- Document incidents and events involving guests or Employees accurately and in detail.
- Inspect Employees as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.
- Keep Employees informed of new procedures and hold daily line ups
- Ensures a safe working environment for Employees.
- Promote teamwork among Employees.
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all vendors, guests and Employees.
- Seeks out ways to provide additional assistance and service to all guests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned/required.
- Able to handle customer complaints and initiate relevant service recoveries as deemed fit
- Order and serve food and beverage to customers
- Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers
- Handle payment transactions in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Full knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Knowledge of Point of Sale system
- Assists guests with inquires and reservations and assist with any and all customer needs with a cheerful disposition
- Perform side work duties on a daily basis and other duties assigned
- Ability to keep composure and maintain service standards when dealing with guests complaints to achieve a high level of guest recovery
- Participate in monthly profit & loss meetings, reporting on restaurant financials.
- Bus tables and ensure tables are reset in a timely manner.
- Remain up to date on Resorts current events and the hours of operation.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
- Have a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages in Utah. (As dictated by Beverage Department and State and local laws).
- Exhibit responsible service of alcoholic beverages in accordance to state laws, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of beverages (i.e. beers, wines, liquors, etc) with ability to communicate with guests and staff
- Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Complete all applicable paperwork for the above responsibilities and submit to HR in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess or obtain a valid food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
- Must possess or obtain the Tips & Sips alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment.
- Must pass UDABC background check and send fingerprints to the DABC to represent Sundance's liquor license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud. Exposed to fumes and air borne particles.
