Job Opening: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Jerry Seiner Dealerships

Pay: $18-$22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

POSITION SUMMARY: Jerry Seiner Dealerships is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the accounting department. This position is responsible for processing receivables, posting payments, reconciling accounts, managing collections, and supporting dealership operations with administrative and financial tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process customer payments, including checks, electronic payments, and returned checks
• Post receivables and make daily bank deposits
• Reconcile parts, service, and cash accounts as needed
• Contact customers with past due balances and coordinate collections
• Send monthly statements to all accounts and maintain communication regarding account issues
• Add and maintain customer account records in the system
• Handle credit applications, assign credit ratings, and process tax documentation
• Support GA Security processes, including PPM reporting, contract input, and warranty claim submissions
• Collaborate with department managers and sales teams to resolve account-related issues
• Perform general administrative and accounting support duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of general office or accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable using calculators and standard office software
• Willing to be trained on dealership accounting systems
