Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager – Join Our Growing Team!

Position Overview:

As an F&I Manager, you will play a crucial role in our sales process, working closely with the sales team and finance sources to secure financing, sell F&I products, and ensure a smooth and seamless vehicle purchase experience. Your responsibilities will include managing contracts, securing financing approvals, training the sales team, and contributing to the financial success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Oversee contract deals (retail, commercial, fleet) and ensure timely completion of required paperwork at the time of delivery.
  • F&I Product Sales: Sell finance and insurance products such as extended service contracts, gap insurance, and theft deterrent in alignment with 20-Group Averages.
  • Lender Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple finance sources to support customer needs.
  • Paperwork & Funding: Review deal paperwork, obtain necessary lender stipulations, and submit for funding within 3 working days of delivery.
  • Finance Approvals: Submit finance deal paperwork and obtain lender approval within 24 hours of contracting the deal.
  • Sales Team Training: Provide ongoing training to sales staff on F&I products, leasing concepts, and finance processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers to ensure profitability from each sale and meet financial forecasting goals.
  • Leasing Expertise: Explain leasing concepts to customers, compute leasing charges, and prepare leasing contracts.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate insurance files, ensure required licenses for selling insurance are up to date, and prepare monthly finance penetration reports.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as requested by management to support dealership goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or high-performing automotive sales experience.
  • 2+ years of related automotive experience.
  • High School Diploma required; college preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in financial software including Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of F&I processes and ability to meet monthly sales goals and department KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to train and mentor the sales team on F&I processes.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • AFIP certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Stability in previous job positions and a good culture fit with our organization.
  • Candidates from Las Vegas or Salt Lake City areas are preferred.
