A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MED TECH - MEDICATION AIDE


You can expect to work a consistent full and part-time schedule, either in the morning, day, or night.


In this full or part-time healthcare position, you play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our assisted living senior residents. Along with your medication administration expertise, you're also responsible for providing top-notch skin care and treating minor skin problems. Additionally, you're skilled at changing simple dressings for non-infected chronic or postoperative conditions.


From time to time, the licensed nurse on duty may delegate other tasks to you, and we appreciate your willingness to lend a hand wherever it's needed. Your invaluable contributions to our team make a genuine difference in the lives of our senior residents every day. Your compassionate care, attention to detail, and expertise in medication administration are just a few of the things that make you stand out as an exceptional med tech - medication aide. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A MED TECH - MEDICATION AIDE?



  • A current caregiver certification

  • Ability to complete our designated training program as prescribed by the Wellness Director or the designated LPN or supervisor

  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees

  • Physical ability to assist in transferring residents and lifting people

  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stand/walk for long periods of time

  • A heart for serving seniors
