Position: Maintenance Manager

Are you a skilled problem-solver with exceptional maintenance expertise? Schaeffer Industries is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager with advanced technical abilities across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, millwright, HVAC, plumbing, and welding. This role requires experience in installing, aligning, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery, along with strong leadership skills, blueprint reading proficiency, excellent communication and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other manufacturing or packaging systems.
• Experience with tube mills, roll formers, and/or robotics is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team while performing maintenance tasks.
• High level of computer literacy, including the ability to utilize digital tools and technologies.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions, updates, and concerns effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for system layouts and repair needs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules, inspection protocols, and repair procedures.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
• Ability to plan and oversee maintenance projects while staying within budget constraints.
• Quick adaptability to unexpected maintenance challenges and the ability to adjust plans accordingly.

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of a technical training program or apprenticeship in trades such as electrician, mechanic, welder, Fanuc Robots, Automation / motion controls, or HVAC technician is a plus.
