WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR DIETARY CHEF


For this culinary role, we offer morning and afternoon shifts with rotating weekends. The morning shift runs from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while the afternoon shift starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM.


As a Dietary Chef with our senior living facility, you work closely with our dietary team to plan menus that meet the nutritional guidelines set by our facility. You have the opportunity to showcase your culinary creativity by developing new recipes and adapting existing ones to accommodate various dietary restrictions, such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, and gluten-free options. Your typical day involves preparing meals from scratch, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and high-quality. In addition to meal preparation, you're also involved in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This includes monitoring inventory, ensuring proper storage of food items, and following food safety protocols. You love contributing to the well-being and happiness of our residents through your culinary expertise.
