JOB SUMMARY
The Primary responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst include fostering collaboration between Product Teams, assisting Product Owners in managing our Agile Software tracking Tool – Version One, and providing timely and accurate reports to the CEO, Product Owners and other stakeholders within the company. The BI will function as a Scrum Master for CEO working with Product Owners (see Scrum Master duties at the bottom). In addition to providing reports on product progress and project status, the BI Analyst will coordinate with IT and Accounting to provide cost and time reports from multiple systems. The BI Analyst will also act as a system administrator for Version One and other systems required for Purchasing and Inventory, Accounting or others as necessary to coordinate ASI's reporting needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Standardize data collection by developing methods for database design and validation reports
- Provide direction on internal system usage to improve collaboration and information sharing among teams
- Extract data from databases and data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems
- Creates new processes and interacts with all levels of management and executives
- Recommends business actions to business leaders based on interpreted findings of the analyzed business report
- Administers or assists in the administration of key internal information systems
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS:
- Proficient in the use of query and reporting analysis tools
- 1-3 Years of experience in operations, analyst, business intelligence or information systems
- Degree in finance, statistics, information systems, computer science or related field required
- Proficient in database design and implementation
- Experience integrating information systems preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in decision making and leadership roles
SCRUM MASTER SUMMARY
Ensure their team is able to organize and follow the scrum and ASI processes. Help ensure all their team members have taken the appropriate step on stories so their team is a well-oiled machine. Remove Impediments, encourage the team to work only on task, and encourage POs to plan. Conduct Retrospectives, and schedule Backlog Grooming. 20% of time is spent doing work as a Scrum master, and the remaining 80% of time will be spent working on product development alongside team.
Process: The focus of the Scrum master is to get team to follow the scrum process.

- Work with team members on backlog and processes.
- Understand and remove impediments to the scrum process.

- Must meet functional education and skills.
- Thorough understanding and mastery of Scrum processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Version 1.
- Ability to communicate effectively to engineers and management.
