Job Summary: The Golf Course Maintenance - Grounds Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. This role involves performing general landscaping tasks using light equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and playability of golfing areas, and assisting with equipment maintenance and special projects.

Core Responsibilities:

• Mow tee boxes, approaches, fairways, and roughs using appropriate equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash or debris on the course.
• Rake bunkers to maintain optimal playing conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance on operating equipment.
• Assist with irrigation repairs and special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate various mowers, including rotary and reel types.
• Proficiency in using hand-held blowers and commercial string trimmers.
• Capability to walk up steep slopes and perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, pulling, and twisting.

Experience:

• Basic knowledge of operating landscaping and maintenance equipment is preferred.

Education/Formal Training:

• No formal education required.

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoor work (approximately 90% of the time).
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Tasks involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and heavy lifting.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage ranging from $16 to $18, depending on experience.
