Evening Staff

Kids On The Move, Inc. (KOTM) is a nonprofit organization located in Orem, UT. KOTM supports the development of young children and families by "empowering families, one child at a time." KOTM provides services through five main programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, Child Care, Respite Care and KOTM's Autism Center.

We're on the lookout for an individual to join us as an Evening Staff Member, playing a pivotal role in establishing a seamless connection between the community and Kids On The Move. This position is instrumental in effectively coordinating volunteers, ensuring optimal care and training for the children and families we serve.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible part-time, average 5-7 hours per week
  • Monday through Saturday evenings, 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Occasional Saturday morning.

Responsibilities:

  • Evening Staff employees are cross trained to staff the front desk, answer the phone, assist programs with their activities, supervise volunteer projects, and supervise the childcare volunteers. If the Evening Staff Supervisor is not working, an evening staff member will be asked to take the Evening Lead position.
  • Collaborates with all Front Desk Staff and provides feedback
  • Collaborates and assists KOTM staff running evening and Saturday activities
  • Oversees all aspects of the evening childcare staff and volunteers
  • Monitors and confirms volunteers are following all required processes

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Computer proficiency including data entry
  • Effective and approachable communicator and collaborator
  • Proficient in English, Bilingual Spanish preferred
