  • Use strategies to facilitate the parent-child relationship
  • Implement the individual and group activities outlined on the IFSP in order to help families identify and carry out goals and strategies to enhance their child's development
  • Use approved curriculum to guide family and child learning
  • Conduct ongoing assessment in all areas of development (Primary Provider) or areas of specialty (Specialist Provider)
  • Bring child and family needs to the attention of the team for discussion and action
  • Attend team Child Study meetings and perform follow-up, as needed
  • Maintain accurate caseload lists, appointment schedules, and Primary Provider tracking sheets
  • Participate in the assigned role in Transdisciplinary Playbased Assessments
  • Attend 6-month and annual IFSP meetings, as needed
  • Formally consult with Service Providers and other specialists on your team regarding children on your caseload
  • Implement individual and group activities at home visits and in the center to teach families strategies that they can carry out to enhance their child's development and make progress on goals on a day-to-day basis
  • Maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate
  • Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned
